Hot Wheels' Speed Snap Track System Supports Flexibility & Independence

Hot Wheels' iconic orange track debuted in 1968 and in 2025, the toy brand introduced its most significant track innovation since then, updating tracks and playsets to feature a Speed Snap Track System. The reimagined track system better supports flexibility and family living spaces, and responds to real consumer insights on key concerns like independence—according to one survey conducted by the Hot Wheels team, less than a third of kids ages three to six were able to assemble traditional Hot Wheels track sets by themselves.

Hot Wheels fans of all ages can look forward to seeing the Speed Snap Track System at major retailers nationwide in the fall, with select products coming to stores as early as June 1st. New launches to look for include a Triple Loop Speed Kit, the Boosted Jump Speedway Kit, and highly customizable Straight Track Packs.
