Inclusive Roller Skating Classes

Smooth Goddess Teaches Students Roller Skating Skills

Smooth Goddess offers students roller skating classes in a studio setting. The teacher creates a welcoming and encouraging environment, which aims to reflect the diversity of the world and how differences should be celebrated. The beginning class teaches newcomers how to skate, stop, and fall safely.

Once the basic skills are met, the class moves forward with a few easy-to-grasp tricks. The goal is to teach outside of a skating rink where a more diverse group of people would feel comfortable attending, away from the public eye.

The Smooth Goddess also offers an advanced class, where students learn more difficult moves, including the Crazy Legs and how to spin. The classes are offered exclusively in Chicago, where the teacher is based.
