Hot Wheels: Rift Rally is a brand new mixed reality game to launch by Velan Studios, who are the same creators of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. Players are able to control a real RC car while the screen reflects the augmented perspective right in the cockpit.
The game is set to officially launch in March on platforms including PS5, PS4, and iOS. The game set is made up of a toy car, which is able to drive in two modes -- Campaign and Stunt. During the Campaign mode, agates are set up in the room, which the car can drive through to complete different maps and challenges. Stunt mode does not need gates and can perform digitally.
