Jialun Xiong Completed Her First Restaurant Interior Project

This retro-futurist restaurant interior is located in an industrial area that is close to Downtown Los Angeles. Jialun Xiong is the local designer who completed this project and 19 Town, a business that specializes in Chinese fusion food, is the client. The restaurant is divided into five areas, a main dining space, a bar and lounge, as well as three private dining rooms.

Jialun Xiong looked for the right visual balance to bring her vision of a retro-futurist restaurant to life. In order to do so, the designer "crafted with rigorously minimal forms balanced by rich materials like Venetian plaster, silver, and leather." The result is lavish and luxurious, drawing individuals in with the sophistication of forms and materials that were the focus of Jialun Xiong.
