Porsche x AirConsole make headlines with the announcement that AirConsole’s in-car gaming platform will debut in the new Porsche Macan later this year. The collaboration will offer passengers a curated library of casual, multiplayer games that can be played while parked on the central infotainment screen or, for non-driving occupants, on the front passenger display during trips. Smartphones act as controllers, requiring no additional hardware, and setup is seamless via the Porsche App Center.
The platform features short-session games optimized for in-car play, including popular titles like 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' from Sony Pictures Television, 'Overcooked' from Team17, and 'UNO® Car Party!' from Mattel. AirConsole, a Zurich-based startup, has already partnered with multiple automakers since launching its automotive platform in 2023 and will expand availability across all Porsche Connect markets, excluding China, by year’s end.
