SANAYI313 Designs the New Oblong Collection of Maximalist Pieces

Istanbul-based design studio SANAYI313 introduces its new Oblong collection which is made from solid wood materials. It features a wide range of bulky shaped furniture that is softened up by rounded corners. This includes consoles, side tables, coffee tables, a dining table, and stools.

All of the pieces are made in Istanbul and take on the studio's design language that approaches design with "maximalist expressions in minimalist details." The furniture designs commemorate the rich woodworking history that is rooted in the city and to show off the pieces, the campaign was photographed in a local dyehouse. This allows for an industrial background that makes the wooden furniture stand out in contrast, which nods to the city's notable moniker of 'The City of Contrasts.'
