‘Nordic Lights’ Features Six Light Based New Media Art Pieces

The Harbourfront Centre invites people of all ages to experience the 'Nordic Lights,' an outdoor art experience that features the work of various Nordic and Canadian artists. As mentioned in each description, this event was possible through the Harbourfront Centre's collaboration with Fjord Studio, "a creative studio dedicated to bringing the magic of light art... [through] meaningful, inspiring and memorable experiences."

Six pieces are scattered around the campus, featuring interactive works like 'CONTROL NO CONTROL,' kinetic works like 'Sense Light Swing,' and audiovisual mapping pieces like 'Equinox,' to name a few. Each new media art piece allows viewers to reflect, admire, and spark curiosity through light and meaning. The illuminated Nordic Lights displays will only be in Toronto from January 27th to February 13th, and it is free for anyone to view.
