Koichi Yairi Launches New Edition of His Ghost Character

Japanese artist Koichi Yairi has released a new sculpture edition of his signature character, Ghost, who resides in the monochromatic half-tones comical universe the artist created. The Ghost character in Koichi Yairi's artistic work is known to be placed in sometimes ordinary or extraordinary situations that deliver audiences a new perspective or experience in the comical universe. Additionally, this sculpture is made in collaboration with Flexx Lex.

The sculpture Koichi Yairi's Ghost is made in resin and alloy. The sculpture also displays Ghost seated on a brown stool. His entire expression is calm, and specifically, his nose, eyes, feet, and lips are manually painted in orange and black colors. Koichi Yairi claims that the sculpture can be used as a guardian who can safely watch over an individual's house, as he mentioned in a past statement: "Things can be good or evil if the perspective changes."

The Japanese artist signed and numbered the sculpture in a custom screen-printed wooden box, and it is available for preorder for $1,108.
