The Casio G-SHOCK x Mobile Suit Gundam DW-5600 Features Anime Graphics

Casio has partnered with Mobile Suit Gundam on a special-edition DW-5600 watch inspired by the original 1979 anime series. The release incorporates a matte white resin case and strap paired with red, blue, and yellow accents referencing the RX-78-2 Gundam color scheme. A custom backlight graphic displays a Gundam head illustration when activated, while additional printed graphics appear across the strap and caseback. The square digital watch retains the DW-5600’s compact proportions and exposed bezel screws associated with the long-running G-SHOCK model.

The watch includes shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, multi-function alarms, a stopwatch, countdown timer, and EL backlighting integrated into the digital module. Gundam insignia and co-branded markings extend throughout the packaging and display graphics, while the strap incorporates segmented color blocking tied to the RX-78-2 mobile suit. The Casio G-SHOCK x Mobile Suit Gundam DW-5600 releases through Casio beginning May 30.
