Kawasaki Bex Robot Goat Imagines Future Cargo Travels

The Kawasaki Bex Robot Goat imagines a futuristic world where robots carry travel cargo. Kawaski took inspiration from different animal robot designs in recent years to create one that could carry people and their items on its back.

The motorcycle manufacturer aimed to create an emblem for mobility. The engineers on the project decided to name the robot Bex after the Ibex goat species that grows larger than farmed goats. Ibexes are known for their ability to climb mountains with steep slopes. Similarly, the robot version is able to navigate uneven terrain on four legs. However, Bex has the ability to roll on wheels when the terrain is flat and smooth. This makes for a more pleasant ride for the traveler.
