Versatile Agriculture Robots

This Compact Robot Can Traverse Both Flat & Uneven Outdoor Terrain

Kubota Tractor Corporation, the tractor-focused section of storied Japanese multinational company Kubota which was established in 1890, has launched a high-tech agriculture robot that is designed to be able to navigate an array of rustic terrains in order to provide assistance and improve yields and productivity.

The 'Kubota All-Terrain Robot,' or KATR for short, is an agriculture robot that is designed to be able to increase its elevation on its outer layer of four wheels in order to be better able to traverse terrain that might not be easily navigable when its four inner wheels are used as is the case on flatter surfaces.

This particular robot is capable of carrying up to 284 pounds and can be used in conjunction with the latest sensors, tools and cameras. Elsewhere it can be powered using either a gas engine or battery.

The winner of an Innovation Award at CES 2024, this agriculture robot is designed to offer versatile use in an array of industrial and farm settings.
