Hydrow Debuted the 'Wave' At-Home Rower with a Smaller Build Size

Hydrow, the at-home rowing company founded in 2019, debuted a new version of its original rowing device titled the 'Hydrow Wave.' The Wave is the company's second-generation rower, and it has been redesigned with a smaller frame that boasts the same level of workout. The original Hydrow rose to popularity during the pandemic for its comprehensive workout solution. With only one workout, the Hydrow enables exercisers to activate 86% of their muscles.

The Wave offers this same level of workout but in a 27-inch by 30-inch case, which is approximately 30 percent smaller than the original Hydrow. This shrunken size was achieved by reducing the screen size in addition to the size of the frame. One notable result of the shrunken size is the shipping cost of the device. Now that the Wave is smaller it qualifies for standard shipping through companies like UPS, allowing Hydrow to pass savings onto customers rather than paying for its own first-party shipping system.

The Hydrow Wave retails for $1,495 USD, while the original Hydrow retailed for $2,495 USD.
