Group EOZ Creates UVtap to Filter Drinking Water in Rural Areas

Group EOZ is a collaboration of two separate entities participating to form one common goal of creating clean, drinkable water for all of Mexico. Group EOZ has created the UV tap which enables the company to distribute this to urban areas at a cost with the profits, then facilitating the distribution of this technology into rural areas at a greatly subsidized cost.

For every 10 urban sales of the aforementioned UV tap, Group EOZ is then able to turn around and subsidize one water purifier for one rural family. The goal of the company is to have given 1 million families the gift of clean water.

The UV tap allows for clean water instantaneously, and eliminates 99.9% of all bacteria in water. The UV tap by Group EOZ was released in June of 2011 and costs the Urban consumer $450. The company is actively making an effort to provide a sustainable solution to Mexico's water problem, with a goal of making all of Mexicos water safe to drink from.
