Google Gemini and DoorDash have announced a partnership that will see Google Gemini offering users the ability to order food using simple commands to prioritize ease of use.
The partnership will enable smartphone users to utilize simple commands with the artificial intelligence (AI) platform to order food through DoorDash in the US with compatibility with the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. The feature will enable a long press of the power button to let users ask Gemini to order meals, which they can watch being done on the device with the option to step in at anytime to make changes.
The Google Gemini and DoorDash partnership is targeted towards enhancing value for the end user, but also merchants and Dashers alike.
