BARK Creates Dog Food Formulas for Chihuahuas, Labradors & More

BARK newly expanded its BARK Food product portfolio with a range of dog food formulas tailored to specific breeds. Currently, this line is suited to meet the specific dietary needs of common breeds like Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas and Labradors, and other special formulas for more breeds will be added soon.

This new breed-specific dog food line has been in the works for two years and according to BARK, it meets breed-specific conditions, eating styles and "personality quirks," as well as the nutritional standards recommended by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).

Each breed-specific collection includes a complete and balanced kibble diet that can be paired with a functional supplement. While the Farm-Raised Chicken & Rice Recipe for Chihuahuas was formulated to help build muscle and burn fat, the kibble for Labradors is optimized for skin health and mobility.
