Studio Author Presents a Bold and Immersive Design for POUTx

Studio Author has reimagined the aesthetic and functional paradigm of cosmetic clinics with its bold design for POUTx in Toronto. This project sees the transformation of a compact 800-square-foot space into a futuristic sanctuary that challenges conventional medical interior design.

Studio Author departed from the sterile, clinical environments typically associated with cosmetic clinics specializing in injectable treatments. Instead, the designers implemented a radical color-blocking scheme dominated by immersive pink micro-cement surfaces. The aesthetic is accented with vibrant red details and surgical-grade stainless steel fixtures. Studio Author's design strategically manipulates spatial perception through oversized convex mirrors and vertical neon lighting. This creates an illusion of expanded dimensions while maintaining an intimate atmosphere.

The space culminates in a dramatic 'Face Wall' installation bearing the clinic's empowering mantra "maintained, not changed."
