Circulon, a brand under the Meyer Corporation, has launched the Halo line featuring its LaserDefense™ Ceramic Nonstick technology. This PFA-free ceramic cookware is engineered to address widespread durability issues often associated with traditional ceramic nonstick surfaces, such as scratching, staining, and a gradual loss of nonstick performance.
The Halo line's proprietary design involves a laser-etching process that creates a textured surface of microscopic raised dots on an aluminum core. These serve to form a protective barrier against utensils and abrasion while remaining non-stick. In addition to the innovative LaserDefense™ Ceramic Nonstick technology, Circulon's new Halo series also boasts features like induction-compatible heavy-gauge aluminum for even heating, silicone-rimmed glass lids, and ergonomic stainless steel handles. The cookware is safe for oven and dishwasher use.
