The Cannondale Synapse Uses the New SmartSense System for Safety

The Cannondale Synapse electric bike comes as a safety focused model from the brand that will provide riders with the ability to enjoy enhanced peace of mind when commuting or riding for leisure purposes. The bike is equipped with the new SmartSense system that is intended to help prevent riders from being struck by a car, and consists of three components including a wheel motion sensor, a set of Lezyne daytime running lights for the front and back, and the Garmin Varia Radar system. The system would continuously monitor for cars and warn the rider of an approaching one on the handlebars as it also flashes the lights to warn the other driver.
