The Glenrothes Has Unveiled The 42 Whisky Which is Also 42 Years Old

Edrington-owned Scotch brand The Glenrothes has introduced the 42 whisky, which is 42 years of age. This exclusive single-cask whisky was aged for over four decades from a combination of hand-selected casks from The Glenrothes Estate. The Glenrothes brand director Kerr Arthur spoke about the debut of this whiskey, saying: "The Glenrothes 42 captures a true moment in time that celebrates generations of excellence, honors patience, and evokes the vitality of Rothes."

There are several mixtures of ingredients blended into the whisky. These ingredients comprise sun-ripened apricots, sugared almonds, orange peel, coriander seed, creamy vanilla, honeycomb, and fragrant orange oil. Additionally, it has a 43% ABV with 700 ml of a bottle. Furthermore, there are only 1,134 bottles produced and available for purchase. Each bottle is priced at $8,151 and will be available for purchase on March 15 at the United Kingdom's Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, and The Whisky Shop.
