Rockrider unveiled the '2023 E-EXPL' range of electric mountain bikes. This series includes four e-bikes, the '520,' '520S,' '700,' and '700S.' This is separated into two performance categories, as well as two frame categories.
The S classification, in this case, is referring to the size of the suspension on the mountain bikes, with the S-rated bikes benefiting from a full-size suspension, and the others featuring a more modest suspension for less intense off-roading. The number in the bikes' titles refers to the performance of the included motor. The 520-series bikes feature a Yamaha motor, while the 700-series bikes boast a Brose Drive T motor.
In addition to featuring a stronger motor, the 700-series bikes are powered by 630Wh battery packs, rather than the 500 Wh packs included in the 520-series bikes.
