29 Factors That Could Be Boosting Teen Pregnancy

Teen pregnancy is on the rise, and apparently a new study shows it's linked to TV shows.

A show like Gossip Girl, for example, is meant to depict high school students, but nearly every episode features some highly sexual content that could easily lead to teen pregnancy. Then there are shows like Zoey 101 in which 16 year old actress Jamie Lynn Spears was going through a real life pregnancy.

The boost in teen pregnancy is no doubt also heavily influenced by the influx of celebrities with buns in the oven; they glamorize the maternal look with couture maternity gowns and chic baby strollers and accessories.
