30 Egg-Shaped Innovations

These Eggcellent Designs Are Anything But Dr. Seuss Green:

Dr. Seuss, the beloved author of children’s books including the famous "Green Eggs and Ham," was born 109 years ago this week. Here is a cluster of eggs that Dr. Seuss never wrote about, but certainly would love nevertheless.

Dr. Seuss (born Theodor Seuss Geisel) certainly would appreciate Disney-branded eggs or the egg separator that makes the egg white look like drippy snot. Dr. Seuss’ "Green Eggs and Ham" has seen more parodies than any poet, living or dead.

As NJ.com and the Associated Press wrote of Dr. Seuss’ work, "Seuss populated his odd and fanciful kiddie books with a hybrid bestiary of Wockets, Whos, Grinches, bunches of Hunches, Bar-ba-loots, red fish, blue fish, and a fox in socks. The stories had an incantatory, rhythmic pace, and are full of tongue-twisters, word play, and highly inventive vocabulary."
