Shell Egg Market Re-Expansions

The American Egg Board Reopens the Singaporean Market

The American Egg Board — in collaboration with the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council and multiple U.S. producers including Hillandale Farms, Rose Acre Farms, and Mid-States Specialty Eggs — has successfully reopened the Singaporean market for American shell eggs after a hiatus of over 26 years. This move marks a significant milestone in agricultural trade relations between the two countries.

The American Egg Board's initiative involves a launch shipment distributed through three established Singaporean importers — Hen Tick Food, Kai Young Huat Eggs, and N&N Agriculture — who will channel the product across retail, foodservice, hotel, and food manufacturing sectors throughout the city-state, which imports more than 90% of its food supply and ranks among Southeast Asia's highest per-capita egg consumers.

The product itself is distinguished by stringent USDA safety standards, rigorous food-safety controls, and comprehensive traceability practices.
