Inaugural Manga-Inspired Trilogies

Pudgy Penguins Debuts Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly

Pudgy Penguins has unveiled its first-ever comic book series — Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly — a three-part manga-inspired trilogy that establishes the official origin story for the brand's characters. This publication will debut exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 from July 22 through July 26.

The Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly series, written by Vivian Lin and illustrated by Afiq Salam under the creative direction of Chief Creative Officer Peter Lobanov, follows the journey of Pax Pengu across Antarctica as he searches for his missing family after receiving a mysterious letter. The letter leads him to The Berg where he meets Polly, forms lifelong friendships, and uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the community's future. The three volumes, each approximately 32 pages in standard American comic format, are titled Journey to The Berg, Betrayal on The Berg, and A New Dawn on The Berg.
