PENGU PIER was described as a "15,000-square-foot hybrid experience" that merged "the energy of Miami’s waterfront with Pudgy Penguins’ playful optimism to create the most accessible Web3 onboarding experience yet, no wallet required." A core promotional mechanic involved incentivizing token trading on the OpenSea platform before the event, with such activity unlocking eligibility for on-site rewards ranging from exclusive merchandise to other prizes.

PENGU PIER also featured live music and art installations, alongside dedicated assistance stations to guide newcomers through the process of setting up digital wallets and engaging with the marketplace.
