Still in draft-phase, the famous VW Westfalia Camper Van has been redesigned to bring it even more environmental street-cred.
Alexandre Verdier envisions an “intelligent” vehicle with solar panels to power its on board accessories. A computer and GPS-system will position the panels to maximize their solar-intake. A kitchen will swivel, allowing for meal prep inside or out.

Green the groovy way won’t be cheap though - expect to pay around $69,000USD.

Yes! I've been looking all over for some kind of van that is like the old VW's - NOT a humungous motorhome! I want one! I wonder if they could make one with a little less of the accoutrements for less money. I'd love this model, but that's a whole lot of cash! Anyway, I love it!!
