'Voltu' is a new platform launched by adtech company Glispa to provide an easy solution for app companies to reach their audience through social media influencers. Influencers can sign-up at no cost as long as they have a following of over 10 thousand on any social media platform. Member influencers can choose campaigns that interest them and send in an application. Voltu filters through the applications and only sends the most appropriate ones to Advertisers who have signed up for the service.

Unlike other platforms, advertising companies have more control over marketing efforts because influencers only earn money for each app downloaded by its following. Another aspect that sets Voltu apart from other platforms is that it's setup to reach audiences in emerging markets like Brazil, Russia, China and India. Using social influencers to market products allows companies to avoid ad blockers and cut through the advertising clutter to reach target consumers through a far more authentic and personal way.
