The US Navy MZ-3A Airship has been deployed to help in cleaning up the tragic BP oil spill. Airships are generally a greener form of transportation than traditional airplanes. More specifically, the US Navy MZ-3A Airship is a low-fuel, high-endurance machine that is especially useful in airborne patrol missions like this cleanup effort, where communications and endurance are particularly important.

By utilizing their resources that also incorporate low ecological repercussions, governments can take this disaster and use it as an opportunity to showcase that they are prepared and not worsening the situation.
