As part of the Urban Exploration line from its Spring/Summer 2018 Black Series collection, The North Face 'Gear Pocket' has been introduced to offer functional, high-quality styles with fashionable silhouettes. The range marries menswear styles with element-resistant details and references to military gear. In keeping with a militaristic theme, new pieces like technical jackets, pants and various bags have been introduced in black and khaki colors.
Together, the collection works as part of a MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system, which is well-suited for use in rough terrain and harsh conditions; MOLLE equipment and backpacks are currently used by a number of armed forces around the world.
The capsule Gear Pocket collection is currently available through select retailers, yet it will not be available online until later this year.
