Gourmet food department store Fortnum & Mason's recently relied on the expertise of London-based architecture firm Jump Studios to overhaul its sixth floor staff restaurant. The newly minted space is a sprawling food hall-style dining hall opened up by a bright supply of natural lighting and its open-concept, communal seating with space for 95.

The new staff restaurant resides on the sixth floor of London's Fortnum & Mason's and features a newly raised ceiling that makes the space seem even more expansive. The space boasts bespoke seating and has been designed to encourage natural light supply as well as increased flow of traffic so that more employees can get through faster.

The newly renovated staff restaurant at London's Fortnum & Mason's speaks to the progression toward communal dining that encourages social interaction.
