Sports Bigs is a new line of plush toys that's entirely devoted to athletes in women's sports and it's on a mission to celebrate women, empower girls and disrupt the narrative around women's sports. The line is kicking off with a series of celebrity-inspired 18-inch plush toys based on figures like Rebekkah Brunson, Lisa Fernandez and Lori Lindsey.
As well as being able to look at the toys and see themselves represented in the world of sports, girls will get to hear the voices of the role models, as the plush toys talk with the press of a button. Five-time WNBA champion, basketball all-star and current Minnesota Lynx assistant coach Brunson says, "Now that I'm in a position to inspire young girls and empower them to be their authentic selves, I wish that I'd had something that represented me when I was a child — something that I could play with that showed strength and power, and wasn't packaged as male."
