The non-profit organization 'AIDES' has used Smutley the Cat in a French AIDS awareness campaign to forewarn you about the dangers of multiple partners.
The cartoon video, which was directed by
againstallodds through Passion Pictures, takes a humorous approach. The two and a half minute long video 'Getting Tail' showcases Smutley the Cat. Smutley has some very promiscuous adventures with various animals including a fish and an elephant. Of course, Smutley the Cat is not protecting himself from the dangers of sex.
The best part of this commercial is the end message. Recall how cats have nine lives? The AIDES organization makes it clear that we humans only have one, so safe sex is important. The Smutley the Cat advertisement continues to make AIDES a great resource for sexual education.
