With a winter the likes of the one we just had, it's clear that the SlideRider would've come in handy for families across the country. Created by Trisha Cleveland in collaboration with Quirky, the SlideRider is a suitcase-like storage bin that contains connected mats that can be quickly placed down a staircase to augment it into a slide.

The SlideRider is crafted in such a manner that it's able to be cleanly packed back into a relatively compact box when not in use. Everything from the soft slide base to the support side panels fold conveniently in or out of form with the SlideRider to make it not only an awesome toy for kids, but also something that can be transported. Here's hoping your home has two staircases or else you might have little ones breaking the cardinal rule and climbing back up the slide to have another go.
