Just in time for the kick off of the much-anticipated professional hockey season, the SixSix8 Minimalist NHL Teams bring a simplistic touch to the classic logos.

The web and graphic design company decided to harness the insatiable spirit of hockey fans rooting for their team of skating supermen and blew-up the regular representative symbols to make new, iconic identifications. The designer basically cut away all of the clutter that makes up jersey illustrations and highlights the idea that viewers will recognize a team's commercialized branding even just by the color scheme or a tiny hint at the whole logo.

Available to be ordered as prints or made into wearable gear, the SixSix8 Minimalist NHL Teams are an athletically awesome gift to get the superfan looking for some symbolism simplicity.
