CANAL+ Turns Mundane Subscription Forms into a Source of Amusement

As a provider of premium cable television subscriptions, CANAL+ challenged itself to create a sign-up form that is as interesting as the content it puts on TV.

To make the process of entering personal and billing details amusing, CANAL+ turned to two of the station's most well-known characters from a talk show, Catherine and Liliane. The Interactive Form has this pair guide new subscribers through the process of filling in information boxes, complete with entertainment and comical quips along the way.

Although completion of a sign-up form is mandatory, this initiative from CANAL+ goes to show that there is the potential to make a variety of mundane tasks much more exciting for the benefit of the consumer and business. As a result of the Interactive Form, the service saw an 18% increase in subscribers.
