The new Schick Hydro 5 is at the center of this year's Schick Super Bowl commercial. While it might seem as though the spot will begin with a man about to shave his face, the ad quickly turns epic as the razors sitting idly on the counter top turn into Transformer-like characters.

Over the course of the video, the robotic Schick Hydro battles against an outdated razor, which appears run-down and dry in comparison to the newer model. Finally, the Hydro is able to make a quick move with its lube strip to shatter its opponent into pieces.

The commercial brilliantly gives life to inanimate objects, while also introducing the mighty new features of the Schick Hydro 5 in an entertaining way. While razors are essential to many grooming routines of consumers, this ad positions the new product as a superhero of personal care.
