I have always been fascinated by shadow decorations and how light can transform a boring surface into a more visually appealing one. That’s why I love this design, Rosett, which gives you an instant imitation of the appearance of shadow decoration. Simply screw it into an electric socket with just a light bulb and voilà! you have yourself a beautiful and romantic light.
Rosett is created using a delicate laser-cutting procedure that results in an artistic and beautiful interchange of shadow and light on the wall, evoking thoughts and memories from a different era.
Rosett is designed by llot llove from Germany. It was recently showcased at the Zona Tortona in Milan Design Week 2008.
