Changing the way free samples are given out on the streets, Pepsi Co has come out with the socially rewarding Pepsi Like Machine.
Essentially a vending machine, this pop dispenser gives away free cans of Pepsi soda whenever you 'Like' their page via a smartphone. If you walk past one and don't have a smartphone with you, you can use the touch-screen interface and log into your Facebook profile from there, choose your favorite type of Pepsi and watch it roll out the bottom.
The Pepsi Like Machine was tested outside a Beyonce concert in Belgium to great success. This type of campaign allows Pepsi to gain a greater social media following and also keep track of exactly who used the vending machine and which type of beverage they preferred.
