Oculus Ready is a brand new software program that allows tech and gaming enthusiasts to make use of fully officially licensed Oculus-branded personal computers from the likes of Alienware, Dell and Asus, all brands already renowned for manufacturing quality gaming machines.

These computing rigs will be fully optimized to run the consumer version of the Oculus Rift when it launches in early 2016. The minimum specs of 8 GB RAM will be complemented by a powerful Intel i5 processor and an NVIDIA GTX 970/AMD 290 graphics card. These Oculus Ready personal computers will be offered for less than $1,000.
