The New York International Latino Film Festival, or NYILFF, has been producing creative advertising campaigns to draw in casual movie-goers and cinema buffs alike for years. For this iteration of the festival, the NYILFF has crafted a series of movie plot recipe cards denoting how stories normally unfold on the silver screen. The print ads feature buddy cop, alien invasion, sports comeback, chick flick, serial killer and spaghetti western genres, and their satirical portrayals of movies are both humorous and accurate.
The NYILFF ad campaign was though up by the minds at Wing, a New York-based advertising agency. Its cutesy simplistic graphics were crafted by Alvaro Naddeo and Said Fayad and are evocative of airplane instructions. Renata Florio was the Chief Creative Officer who oversaw the devilishly clever project.
