Never one to play by Hollywood rules, Mickey Rourke rocked an unusually punk Oscars red carpet look at the 81st Annual Academy Awards 2009 held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Mickey Rourke, who is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Wrestler, wore chains and punk accessories with a white suit, an open shirt, and a black vest.

Mickey Rourke’s punk rock ‘n roll red carpet look was the complete opposite of the classic Hollywood elegance that other stars like Brad Pitt went for.
