Danish designer Kaspar Peek launched KP Cykler in response to his own frustrations around designing a bicycle for himself that was combined vintage bike aesthetics with modern day technological cycling innovations. Currently up for funding on Kickstarter, KP Cykler hopes to carve out a space in the market to provide the best of both worlds at a lower price point.

A large portion of the savings KP Cykler is offering stems from the fact that they sell direct to customer, while they also take care of the custom bike designing through the use of a digital format, taking away the necessity for an expert builder.

KP Cykler is one of many businesses scrambling to make contemporary bicycle designs affordable and accessible to the average consumer.
