Balloons Retrofit Fireplaces to Block Energy-Wasting Drafts

Inflatable chimney pillows, also known as inflatable chimney balloons, are a cost-effective way to stop airflow, odor, and debris from flowing through disused fireplace and heating stove chimneys. Made from a special plastic laminate, the chimney balloon is airtight, tear-resistant, reusable and long-lasting.

Installation kits include the specially designed pillow, an inflation tube and a reminder card to help folks remember to take the pillow out before starting a fire. If a fire is started, the pillow will deflate when heated and the smoke will travel up the unblocked chimney.
