A great ad campaign in my book is one that manages to capture your interest and curiosity without resorting to needless sex, violence, blood or aimless shockvertising. It is so rare these days to see ads that are genuinely clever and witty.
The Harvey Nichols ad campaigns are usually one of this rare breed, and these new ads by Concept ad agency Turkey keep that legacy with a cool concept and excellent execution.
The ads communicate that experiencing the Harvey Nichols fashion line is unlike any other fashion experience you’ve had before. Once you put the clothes on, it'll be as if you were reborn.
That idea is executed literally, by showing shoppers as newborns with the doctor holding them upside down from their feet after they were dressed with Harvey Nichols pieces.
I can't say how much I love this campaign. It is a breath of fresh air in the stale advertising world of the same ol'.
