It's Masters weekend and Chipotle is getting into the spirit with the launch of new green foil-wrapped burritos at its Augusta, Georgia restaurant.
For those unfamiliar, the Masters Tournament is one of the biggest golf championships in the world of professional golf. The tournament takes place in Augusta, Georgia each year and this time around, Chipotle is setting in on the celebration. In partnership with Max Homa, a six-time Masters champion and a Chipotle superfan, the brand will be offering green foil-wrapped burritos for the duration of the tournament from its Chipotle location at 229 Robert C Daniel Jr Pkwy in Augusta, Georgia. As Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, says of the brand activation, "During the week of an event, it’s common to see various players at the closest Chipotle because we’ve become a go-to meal for pro golfers. We hope a stop into our Augusta, GA restaurant for a green foil burrito foreshadows a strong showing for Max and our other pro golfer superfans later this week.”
