You may think subway grates look nasty, but ‘Surprise Party Specialists’ in NYC found a way to make the grates a good time.  Whenever the subway cruises by, streamers surprise you from the grate.  The ad, developed by GJP Advertising, is innovative and well connected to the value proposition.

Great tag line: "Surprise Party Specialists," which is perfectly nice until an unsuspecting jittery person suffers a heart attack or, more realistically, until those streamers turn black (we're guessing about 10 minutes in NYC). (core77)

I love this ad campaign -- very innovative and hilarious, too.
