XBOX wanted fans to know that its new FIFA 14 game now includes the Colombian Soccer League. But with the FIFA World Cup 2014 now just days away, fans' eyes are riveted to TVs. However, this wasn't a problem for XBOX, as it came up with a clever stunt to make its message absolutely unmissable to soccer fans.
During one of the most important matches of the league, XBOX set up a live broadcast that replaced the real players and live action with realtime video game recreations of the match. Although it's a pretty invasive kind of advertisement, it's clever in the sense that it shows how realistic the gameplay can be and makes sure it is seen by people who are interested in soccer and the Colombian Soccer League.
