6'9" Elisany Silva Lands a Job on Brazilian Fashion Runway

At 6’9”, 14-year-old Brazilian Elisany Silva may be the world’s tallest teen, and if unconfirmed reports prove true, she will be making her fashion modeling runway debut in a bridal show at Belem, Brazil, in late 2010.

Elisany Silva’s height may be due to a medical disorder, but her family is too poor to send her to see a doctor. She had to quit school because she is too tall for the school bus and she finds bonking her head on the ceiling of her house very annoying. Still, it may be that same problematic height that allows Elisany to fulfill her dream of being a fashion model.
