To demonstrate the quality slicing properties of their hobby razor blades, advertiser Martor Solingen of Germany installed a razor blade-shaped billboard with sliced pigeons strewn on the ground below.
The pigeons were fake, but since pigeons have a reputation for perching atop outdoor displays, their use cut to the heart of the assertion that Martor Soligen razor blades are sharp.
In case the pigeons weren’t convincing enough, the company placed sliced fake rocks below the sign in a second messaging effort.
