 Clay Art from Cody Pottery Features Funny Feet on Bowls and Mugs Published: Nov 1, 09 Comments: 2 Views: 868 Bowls and mugs aren’t the only pieces that clay artist Terri Cody creates in her Ritzville, Washington studio, but they are some of the more amusing. Many of the designs come with unexpected footing—duck’s feet, for example. Brilliant colors and wild patterns applied to loosely defined forms are Cody Pottery signatures. The sense of humor in Cody’s low-fire earthenware is intentional. A good laugh is a welcomed artistic outcome.  Terri Cody has been a full-time self-employed ceramic artist since 1988. Her pieces are low fire earthenware. Hand built & hand painted with underglazes some Scraffito design and finished with clear food safe glaze. Playful mugs, “Dancing” cups with saucers, Vases With Attitude & Funky Ducky Bowls.
